What’s Your Love Story?
As Nicholas Sparks, author of The Notebook, once wrote: “Behind every great love, there’s a great love story.” And behind every great love story, there are bound to be photographs that tell it. But it’s not just about the photos, it’s about the moments they capture and the sentiment they hold dear. These photos tell the story of how you first met, funny moments you’ve shared, adventures you’ve been on through the years, milestones you’ve reached, hurdles you’ve crossed, and all the unique roads you’ve gone down together that have led you to walking through life side by side.
As you begin to walk down memory lane, you will uncover long-lost tokens of your romantic journey. Moments such as when you first met, feelings of first attraction, emotions of the first date, introductions to families, obstacles overcome together, and moments and life events that have kept your flame burning will be rekindled and recalled to your mind, causing you to relive your tale of true love all over again.
What About Exes, Lost Loves, & Old Flames?
All paths lead us down the road we walk on and it’s important not to forget that. Exes, lost loves, and old flames are a part of your story and more often than not, worth being remembered, because without them, you wouldn’t be who you are or where you are today. Just because love was lost or otherwise ended, doesn’t mean you should destroy the memory.
If something good comes out of it, or a lesson worth sharing was learned, then there is value in the memory and likely value in a few photographs as well. Not all relationships end well, but that doesn’t necessarily mean that there weren’t good moments. And as they say, it is better to have loved and lost, than to have never loved at all. Even after a nasty divorce, kids like to see their parents in a happier time. Or, when your daughter is heartbroken over a break-up, you can share that photo of you to connect. Regardless, exes, lost loves, and old flames serve as a reminder that some things are not meant to be. But the things that aren’t, somehow always lead us to the things that are.
The Importance of Your Love Story

Make it a family heirloom by documenting it and create a “Love Legacy.” From videos to collages to digital photo books, there are a variety of ways to tell your story in the way that fits you and your partner best. Your love story is a tale as old as time and one worth remembering forever and creating tangible items is the perfect way to ensure your love story lasts a lifetime and longer.
