Lindsey Seïde is a Haitian American filmmaker and photographer based in New York. With her huge love of the arts, she graduated Cum Laude with a B.A. degree in Film and Broadcasting at College of Mt. St. Vincent. She began her career as an intern with Academy member and mentor, Thomas Allen Harris, working on the NAACP Image Award Best Outstanding Doc and PBS documentary, “Through A Lens Darkly: Black Photographers and the Emergence of a People” (2014), which premiered theatrically across the US and internationally.

Lindsey wears many hats in the industry working with companies like Firelight Media and NBPC. She is the associate producer for two short films, “Roommates” (2015) and “About Face: The Evolution of a Black Producer” (2017). She edits video content for OutBytes Media Group, which produces multi-platform video highlighting diverse and unsung voices & causes within the LGBT community. She curated the photography exhibit, “Digital Diaspora Family Reunion: Turning Strangers into Family” (2016) for the Whitney Humanities Center at Yale University.

She is currently the associate editor at Digital Diaspora Family Reunion, LLC and works efficiently in Adobe Creative Suite and a beginner in Avid Media Composer. She produces digital content for social media for the transmedia projects, “Digital Diaspora Family Reunion”(2009) and the television docu-series, “Family Pictures USA” (2019).

When she’s not snapping shots on the streets in NYC, she’s the official house photographer for Film at Lincoln Center, where she has photographed many red carpet events, film premieres, and VIP talent.
