Ashley Meredith Mendoza is a Latin-American film student at Rutgers University-Newark. She is an aspiring filmmaker with the goals to aid humanity with social justice work through documentary filmmaking. Ashley has worked with both experimental filmmaking and documentary, but has a special kind of love for documentary filmmaking.
She’s currently a Senior at Rutgers University-Newark on a full scholarship, and is a member of the Honors Living-Learning Community at Rutgers Newark, which specializes in social justice work in minority communities. It was through this program that she found her passion for justice work and helping people who need a voice, especially during our current political climate.
