Executive Producer for CAAM
Donald Young is Director of Programs for the Center for Asian American Media (CAAM). He oversees all of CAAM’s programs, including CAAMFest, funding for filmmakers, national productions, and public television strategies. Donald has developed and produced numerous programs for the PBS, most recently “Off the Menu: Asian America” by Grace Lee, “Jake Shimabukuro: Life on Four Strings” by Tadashi Nakamura, “Muslim Youth Voices” by Musa Syeed, and “Daze of Justice” by Mike Siv. Upcoming projects include “Asian Americans,” a co-production with WETA, series produced by Renee Tajima-Pena, “Family Pictures, USA” by Thomas Allen Harris, and a feature film adaptation of Chang-rae Lee’s “Coming Home Again” by Wayne Wang.
