Gail Ablow is a writer, producer, and filmmaker based in New York City. She has produced documentaries, breaking news, essays and interviews for PBS, ABC News, CNN and CNBC. Her latest documentary, American Beat: Cops and Refugees Join Forces in Boise, was broadcast on the PBS World Channel in 2018. Gail produced documentaries with Bill Moyers for many years and was a staff writer and producer for BillMoyers.com and prior to that a producer for Moyers & Company and Bill Moyers Journal, on public television. She is an alumna of Columbia’s Graduate School of Journalism, Harvard College, and was a Stanford University John S. Knight Fellow.
