In an ever more digital world where most of us have left the family photo album to gather dust in the attic, Family Pictures USA is creating a new purpose for our old pictures. We aim to create a healing movement, using family photographs to better understand ourselves and others across differences of race, religion, class, gender, orientation, and ability. In an increasingly fractured world, the family photo album may be the key to bringing together our fractured souls and exploring the power of the visual to reimagine a more compassionate future.
